When the first cold front rolls in, or it’s been raining all week, a private infrared sauna is one of the easiest ways to warm up in New Orleans. Book the room for yourself or bring up to three friends, for 30 or 45 minutes, at 6045 Magazine Street with parking right in front.

What a private sauna costs per person

One person books the room for the group, and you split it however you like.

People 30 minutes 45 minutes
Just you $30 $40
Two $48 for the room ($24 each) $64 for the room ($32 each)
Three $63 for the room ($21 each) $72 for the room ($24 each)
Four $72 for the room ($18 each) $80 for the room ($20 each)

No membership needed, and you can pay after your visit.

Students and groups pay less

  • Students save 15% on eligible single sessions and packages. Four students sharing a 45-minute room pay $68 instead of $80, or $17 each. See the student details.
  • Clubs, teams and organizations can apply once for the group program. Once approved, members get 20% off eligible retail sessions and packages. Four members sharing a 45-minute room pay $64, or $16 each. Apply for your group.
  • Military and first responders save 25%. See the first responder details.

Coming back? Share a package

  • 30-minute 10-pack: $200. Two people can use one visit together, so it works out to $10 each. Bring the same friend every time, or a different one.
  • 45-minute 10-pack: $250. That’s $12.50 each when two of you come together.
  • With a student discount, the 30-minute 10-pack is $170, or $8.50 each per visit when a student shares it with one friend, who does not need to be a student.
  • Approved groups pay $200 for ten 45-minute visits.

Packages last 12 months. A package visit covers one or two people, so groups of three or four pay the room price above instead.

In the sauna most days? The Chillest membership is $350 a month (3-month minimum) for daily access to the sauna and every other retail service except CryoSlim.

Why a private infrared sauna on a cold, wet day

  • It’s easy to get to. Park right in front and you’re inside in seconds.
  • It’s private. Just you, or you and your people, in a dry, warm room.
  • Infrared warms you directly. Cleveland Clinic explains that infrared lamps focus warmth on your skin rather than only heating the air. Infrared saunas typically run about 110°F to 135°F, milder than a traditional sauna.
  • It fits the day. Thirty minutes fits a lunch break. Forty-five is for when you want to linger.
  • Hot, then cold. Follow your sauna with localized cryo on one sore spot, a 10-minute appointment for $35.

Rainy-day plans people book

  • A study break for four. A 45-minute room is $20 each, or $17 each with student discounts.
  • A cold run in Audubon Park, then heat. We’re a few minutes away on Magazine Street.
  • A warm-up before dinner. A 45-minute room for two is $64.
  • A regular weekly sweat with a friend. The 30-minute 10-pack makes it $10 each.

Before you book

  • Heat isn’t right for everyone. If you’re pregnant, have a heart or blood pressure condition, or take medication that affects heat tolerance, check with your healthcare professional first.
  • Feeling sick with a fever? Rest first. Here’s when to skip the sauna.
  • Cleveland Clinic suggests keeping infrared sessions under 30 minutes, and starting with about 5 to 10 minutes if you’re new. Think of a 45-minute booking as room time, not a target. Drink water and step out whenever you’ve had enough.
